Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Postcards mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Postcards. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Postcards (photos, videos, captions, messages). By posting content, you grant Postcards a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App and for marketing purposes. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must not upload content that:

• Infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
• Contains hate speech, harassment, threats, or illegal material.
• Is sexually explicit or depicts violence.
• Impersonates another person or entity.
• Contains spam, malware, or deceptive content.

5. Premium Subscription

Postcards offers a premium subscription ("Postcards Premium") with additional features. Subscription terms:

• Premium is billed at $6.99 per month (or the current price shown at the time of purchase).
• New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Payment is charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings.
• No refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Physical Postcard Printing

Postcards offers a service to print and mail physical postcards through our partner. By using this service:

• You confirm the recipient address is accurate and that you have permission to send mail to that address.
• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
• We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed mail once handed to the postal service.
• Content printed on postcards must comply with Section 4 (User Content).

7. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Postcards. Content that breaches Section 4 is removed and the account responsible may be suspended or terminated without notice.

Every postcard, comment and profile can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked from the same menus. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. By using Postcards you agree not to post objectionable content and accept that doing so ends your access.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the App's systems.
• Create fake accounts or use bots to interact with the App.
• Scrape or collect user data without authorization.
• Circumvent premium feature restrictions.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your content will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Disclaimers

Postcards is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data accuracy, or that the App will meet your specific requirements. AI-generated captions are suggestions only and may not be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postcards and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
